Donna Wright and Soap and So

My name is Donna and I run Soap and So.  My journey started with a bar of soap back in 2014, I was unable to use a lot of the shop bought products due to my eczema and so decided to make my own using more natural butters and oils (with none of the added SLS or parabens which can be so harsh on sensitive skin). I wanted something more natural but really special to feel like I was really being pampered.

After several months of playing around and experimenting causing my mum to accumulate about 100+ different soaps, I decided to sell some of it (much to mum’s relief)!

I’ve been making it out of my soap workshop for the last few months and selling it. Don’t be impressed by  this, The Soap Workshop is our old spare bedroom which is now converted and has become a homage to space saving gadgets and shelving (a awful lot of shelving).

We have been expanding our range, trying it, testing it and trying it again until we have it absolutely right. Every night we fill our bath with our products and will only sell it , if we love it!

“My sister gave me a Christmas basket with your wonderful items in it. The bath bombs are fab. I have eczema and had no problems at all. The candle smells so good. Even the flannel was so cute in the shape of a dog and I don’t want to use it as it was so nice! Thank you and hope your business continues to grow as your products are amazing”
